Unique to us in the UK.
(Modern Shrub) Plumpish buds open up to double, pillar box red flowers. They are borne in small, erect clusters and exude a soft perfume. Foliage, when young, is olive green tinged with copper and matures to rich mid green. An upright growing and healthy, smaller shrub rose.
We introduced this rose in support of the ‘250 Appeal’ launched by the Theatre Royal in Norwich. We will be donating 10% from the sale of the rose over 2 seasons.
Norwich Theatre Royal's 250 Appeal was launched to raise money to fund a £10m building project that will substantially improve the facilities for its audiences in the auditorium and foyer areas, improving access and comfort. The theatre will re-open in autumn 2007 in time for it's 250th birthday in January 2008. With tremendous support from businesses, local authorities, audiences and the community at large, £8.5m has already been raised.
