GIGANTEAS

All climbing and rambling roses. Not the hardiest of group but interesting as they gave rise to the old Tea scented roses cultivated in China.



Belle Portugaise (1900)

(Climber) Pointed buds opening to large semi-double flowers of pale pink. A vigorous rose with profuse foliage. Early flowering, but needs some protection in the most severe winters.

Unique to us in the UK.
‘Sénateur La Folette’ (Gigantea Hybrid Climber) Soft pink flowers in small clusters. Scented. Very beautiful, Tender. Very vigorous.
